This toolkit outlines the process and objectives of information management, plus tasks and tools needed to support IM functions in humanitarian responses. It covers needs assessment, response planning, resource mobilization, implementation, monitoring, and general administration. Developed by GNC in 2014, it includes key datasets, assessment tools, capacity mapping, strategic response planning templates, financial tracking, gap analysis, partner reporting tools, and more. The toolkit aims to support decision-making and progress tracking in humanitarian efforts. Ongoing development includes finalizing tools, training package drafting, and review based on user feedback.
