What organ make-up this system? • Starting in your mouth the saliva and the teeth begin digestion. The it travels down your esophagus to your stomach. After coming out your stomach the food which is now a thick liquid called chyme its goes into your small intestines then into the largeintestines. The last place the food goes is the rectum.
Other organs Other organs that are in this system but are not include with actually digesting the food would be the liver, pancreas, and the gall bladder.
How is it related to other body systems ? • The digestive system related to the other bodily functions because without this system the body would be pointless. • There wouldn't be a way to nourish the body and it couldn’t rid itself of waste.
