  3. Contracting for Work with ODOT Regions (STIP) • Each region determines the need and timing of contracting services • Contact is made with the Office of Procurement to determine next available Discipline Specific consultant • Contact is made between the Region Contract administrator and the consultant, negotiations begin

  4. Contracting for Work with ODOT Regions (STIP) • Each Region will independently negotiate the Scope of Work and the resulting hours (effort) needed to complete the contract. • Each Region will independently review the work products at the predetermined milestones. • The milestones and deliverables will be based on the “PD-02” schedule

  5. Contracting for Work with ODOT Regions (STIP) • Within Region 2, STIP work will either be contracted: • as entire projects, with a Consultant Project Manager (CPM) acting as oversight, or: • As specific discipline work, with a member of that discipline team as the contract administrator. In the case of Region 2, that will be Al Heyn (503-986-2774)

  6. Contracting for Work with ODOT Regions (STIP) • Other Region Contacts • Region 1 Nowzar Ardalan (503-731-4964) • Region 2 Al Heyn (503-986-2774) • Region 3 Bob Grubbs (541-957-3579) • Region 4 Jay Davenport (541-388-6383) • Region 5 Mark Hanson (541-963-1361)

  7. Contracting for Work with ODOT Regions (STIP) Review Process • For Complete Projects, CPM will route original SOW to each discipline lead for input on SOW/Level of effort • Review will occur at major milestones (Pre-DAP,DAP, Advance Plans, Final Plans), again by discipline lead • Focus of review will be adherence to BDDM, and other specific Design needs

  8. Contracting for Work with ODOT Regions (STIP) Review Process • For Single Discipline Work Order, review will be coordinated by Contract Administrator (Region 2, Al Heyn for example) • Review will occur at major milestones (Pre-DAP,DAP, Advance Plans, Final Plans), by discipline lead • Same focus of review, but probably more intimate knowledge of the project will lead to more detailed review

  9. Contracting for Work with ODOT Regions (Local Agency)
