  1. Warm Up • Same seats as yesterday • Identify the conditioned stimulus and conditioned response : The nurse says “This won’t hurt” just before stabbing you with a needle. The next time you hear “This won’t hurt” you cringe in fear.

  2. Case Study: Little Albert--249 • Read through case study on Little Albert and answer the 3 questions • We will go over these in 10 minutes!

Classical Conditioning • You and your partner are going to “create” a classical conditioning example • You need to include; neutral stimulus, unconditioned stimulus, unconditioned response, conditioned stimulus, conditioned response, generalization, discrimination (Be sure you include them but do not identify them)

  5. Gallery Walk • With your partner- walk around and identify the neutral stimlus, unconditioned stimulus, unconditioned response, conditioned stimulus, conditioned response, generalization, and discrimination of 10 examples (extra credit for more) • On a sheet of paper, record the number of the examples and then the above information

  6. Taste Aversion • What is taste aversion? How was it used as a means of survival? • List any foods you have a taste aversion to, then tell if you think they are accurate or formed to the wrong food

  7. Wrap Up • Page 248 • 1-5
