Some Dinosaur Facts • Dinosaurs were one of several kinds of prehistoric reptiles that lived during the “Age of the Reptiles.” • Dinosaurs were reptiles and most of them hatched from eggs. • They came in all different shapes and sizes. • Scientists aren't sure what color dinosaurs were. Some think dinosaurs have been as colorful as many birds are today. • Currently there are 404 known kinds of Dinosaurs that once existed.

  3. When did the Dinosaurs Live ? They lived in many different habitats, from open plains to forests to the edges of swamps, lakes, and oceans.

  4. What did Dinosaurs Eat? • Some Dinosaurs ate meat. These Dinosaurs are called carnivores. • Some Dinosaurs ate plants. These are called herbivores .
