  10. Tiger Team: Communication • Email is the best way to get in contact with any of your child’s Tiger Team teachers. • When a student is absent, you are welcome to send one email to all four teachers at once. • During the week, please give us 24 hours to respond. • Before emailing questions, feel free to check out our FAQ site on our weebly. We have compiled a list of answers to our most frequently asked questions! • Leaving phone messages.

  11. Extra Help Resources • Available at lunch most days. • I offer extra help to students who need or want extra reinforcement of a topic or need extra time on a quiz or test. • Available mornings and afternoons on an as needed basis. • The Tiger Team Weebly is up and running. I post nightly homework assignments and important documents for long term assignments. • “Notes-Notebook”. They take all notes in their math spiral-bound notebook. Students should ALWAYS have them out while completing homework and preparing for quizzes and tests. • Textbooks. Students will be provided with one if they request one- students can refer to them for additional practice.

  12. Tiger Team: Studying : A Family Effort • Occasionally check your students agenda. Each class should be filled in each day, even if it says “No Homework” • Make sure your child takes the time to complete all new homework assignments, and check them off in the agenda. • Each night, students should be reviewing their notes for all classes. Spending time doing this each night will help prevent the study overload that will occur if they wait until the night before. • Help students with creating flash cards, checking the weebly for resources, or quizzing them verbally. • To study math- PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!! • The textbook, workbook, and classroom worksheets offer additional examples. • Rework notes examples. • Make it fun! Practice on a window with a dry erase marker or make it a game/challenge.
