  2. Film – February 24, 2012 I will learn about the culture of the 1980’s from watching Footloose (1984) with Kevin Bacon. Answer the following questions using complete sentences: • How does Jailhouse Rock show the culture’s feelings about rock and roll or about the government? • In Footloose, what do you know about RenMcKormick (Kevin Bacon), who he is, and what he is about?

  3. Drama – February 24, 2012 Today I will watch Beauty and the Beast to prepare for our spring performance. I will write a review of Beauty and the Beast.

  4. Art 1 – February 24, 2012 I will review the rubric so that I understand what is expected for the final project. I will work in a group and discuss what I learned yesterday. I will learn about watercolor painting techniques, history and materials.

  5. Group Work – Art 1 • In your group: • Everyone show the images that you printed for watercolor and tell why you chose that work of art. Choose one artwork that your group finds the most interesting and designate one person to collect the printed pages from everyone in your group. • Students who found their painting early researched about watercolor painting. Share with the group two concepts that you learned. Designate one person from your group to share with the rest of the class three ideas that came from the research.
