  2. A-G UC & CSU requirements(each letter, A-G, corresponds with a subject area, “C’s” or better are required for college eligibility) • History - 2 yrs. (BHHS diploma: 3 yrs.) • English - 4 yrs. • Math - 3 yrs. • Lab Science – 2 yrs. (3 yrs. recommended) • Foreign Language – 2 yrs. (3 yrs. recommended) • Visual Performing Arts - 1 yr. • Electives - 1 yr.

  3. BHHS Additional Graduation Requirements -Student must pass the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) -Students must pass 20 credits of PE and the Fitness Examination -Health: 5 credits/one semester -230 credits total for BHHS Diploma

  4. Credit-Recovery Options • Students can include up to seven courses (70 credits) in their senior schedules. • Students may be permitted to take up to 20 credits online (see counselor). • Students can take up to 10 credits during BHEF summer school before senior year.

Literature Math: Based on the recommendation of your previous teacher; see math sequence chart for more information Science: See science sheet Government / Economics: Regular or A.P. Foreign Language VPA / Elective: See Elective Sheet * Health: required for graduation/BHHS Diploma (Intro to Med Science fulfills Health requirement.)

  8. Junior Meeting/Senior Course Requests • Complete all sections of the “2014-2015 Course Request Form for Junior Meeting” handout. Then, submit this completed form to your counselor so that she can schedule your junior meeting with you. In this meeting, you will confirm your senior course requests and discuss any other questions you may have.

  16. Junior To-Do List: • Complete and submit the “2014-2015 Course Request Form” in order to schedule your junior meeting. • Add at least three prospective colleges to Naviance. • Review all of your junior handouts and this powerpoint presentation with your parents!
