Introduction • Narration forms an important and interesting part of our everyday communication, both oral and written. It is a skill that all of us need to use in both personal and work situations, and we ca be effective narrators if we understand its features and the process involved.
Definition • Narration is telling stories of real or imagined people, reporting events or incidents or giving an account of our action and those of others.

Mechanism of narration • A narrative consists of a sequence of actions and events, usually in the order in which they happened.
