  4. How can you go? 1. Students must complete two years in their department.2. Students must have CGPA of 2.50.3. Students who have passed TOEFL exam or IELTS have a higher chance of participating in the exchange program.4. Students must pay for their medical/health insurance coverage in the exchange partner university. The health insurance can either be bought in country of the Partner University or need to purchase an international health insurance policy from their own country that covers medical treatments in there.5. The student is responsible for obtaining their visa from the Embassies. The International Office will help in the paper work but the university cannot guarantee that the student will get a visa and cannot interfere on behalf of the student.6. Students are responsible for finding their own accommodation in the partner university.

  5. How can you go? 7. Students who are selected to go on an exchange will need to pay for their exchange semester before they apply for a visa. 8. The academic year for US Universities start mid August and finishes late December.9. The exchange program is open to ALL EMU STUDENTS.10. Applications that have missing information or documents will not be taken into consideration.11. Students must write a one page personal statement regarding why they would like to be an exchange.(it must be typed).12. Short listed candidates will be required to attend an interview before the final selection.

  7. INTERNATIONAL OFFICE POLICY • If you are selected to be an exchange student, you must come back once your exchange is over • You cannot transfer to the university you are on exchange to. Our partner university will not accept any transfer applications from exchange students

  8. When can you go?What can you study? • You can only go in Fall Semester • The Exchange Program is open to all departments; however not all departments are offered by every exchange partner. • We only have exchange for undergraduate students
