Aims of the ICT Structures • Integrate all HIS support personnel into a single organisation • Provide clear and robust management structures • Develop more expertise by building teams of like skilled individuals • Share best practice from legacy organisations • Operate to common procedures across South Staffordshire • Provide clear career and personal development paths for ICT support staff • Senior HIS manager at each major site

ICT Support Principles • Customer focused service based on SLA defined service • Use the Service Desk as the hub to deal with incidents of all types • Use of clear procedures to allocate work and to clear incidents to customers satisfaction in a systematic fashion • Monitor our own performance against SLAs and meet internal team performance targets • Manage resources to ensure that realistic target dates are given to customers • Disciplined approach to system development
