  2. Ten on Tuesday is a pledge you take online. You pledge to pick up at least 10 pieces of litter every Tuesday.

  3. We all litter…. We just don’t know it.Think about it, you drop a straw wrapper or a piece of garbage flies out of your car door. It happens to everyone but do you pick it up? Where does it go?Rainwashes it down storm drains then into our creeks and rivers.The creeks and rivers drain into the reservoirs which is the source of drinking water.

  4. I went down to where the lake flows over and the creek starts to begin my clean up.

  5. We then hiked along the creek picking up garbage.

  6. Then we carried out all our garbage and took it home. But we didn’t just throw it in the garbage can. We dumped it out and sorted it into recycling and garbage. It does take 200 years for a water bottle to break down in the garbage dump you know!

  7. There are lot’s of animals that call these waters home but they need our help to clean it up.
