  5. ICT INCUBATOR • Initial funding: Provincial Gov. Western Cape • Funding declined: SEDA • Existing contacts: Bandwidth Barn, CAPE IT Initiative, SEDA NMB Incubator • Other contacts: Business Connexion, IBM, Dimension Data, (Vodacom – Knysna).

Incubator – documents available • Original Concept Document • Feasibility Study (including budget) • You Tube clip outlining history, future focus areas, etc. • PDF versions of above overview & process plan for 2013 • Focus area: Private sector CSI funding to match possible DTI Incubator Grant funding

  11. Vegetables – documents available • Nothing formal other than Strategy • Some work on Food Gardens • Some Permaculture local contacts with excellent ideas – e.g. localised resource centres • Focus area: Pooling of funding & up-scaling Food Gardens + commercialisation

  12. 4. TIMBER • Knysna Timber Cluster work? • Not very successful to date in George • Business Plan available for a private sector initiative which reached a dead end with commercial funding (have to request approval from individual first)
