  2. Introduction For this coursework I was ask to build a network for ACME PLC. It had to be 3 floors. Ground floor, First floor & Second floor. It will be equipped with networking equipment.

  3. Ground Floor My ground floor has 5 rooms. Receptionist, Head of HR, CEO, Network room, CIO & Chief Accountant. It has 7 PC’s all connected to the servers. There is also a switch in any room.

  4. First Floor On the first floor I have 3 offices which consist of 6 PC’s each. The cloud is connected to the router which is then connected to the switch that is in each room. There is also a router connected outside each office. This allows all the computers to have access to the network and the web.

  5. Second Floor The second floor has 15 PC’s in total. There are 6 in one office and 8 in the Meeting/Conference room. They all have switches in the rooms and a router outside the room. I have 1 main PC in the meeting/conference room which allows the person to do a presentation and project it to the projector. If the projector does not work then there are back up PC’s which will allow the person to present their work on the main PC and it will be shown on all 8 PC’s in that room.
