LSDD Program of Study Performance Support System Scenario to use with storyboard Anne has recently accessed her MyZou account, and has been prompted to complete her Program of Study and submit it to her advisor for approval. She does not have any classes that she plans to transfer from another school, but has finished five classes (Intermediate Web Development, Web Application Development I and II, Needs Assessment for Instructional Design, and Formative and Summative Evaluation), and is enrolled in two more at this time (Flash Authoring and Designing Online Courses). Anne is an online student who lives in South Carolina, so she does not have access to campus. As part of completing her Program of Study, Anne wants to make sure that she has met all the degree requirements for LSDD (for example, the required number of 8000-9000 courses and the required number of hours).

LSDD Program of Study Performance Support System Please Log In Using your MyZou username and password Username This tool is designed to help LSDD students at the University of Missouri complete their Program of Study. A Program of Study is a listing of the courses you will complete to earn your Master's degree. Typically, the Program of Study is submitted for SISLT approval before you are half way through the program. Your advisor will help you develop your own personalized program of study. Password Log In This opening screen will be for users to log-in to the system, using their myZou username and password.

  3. LSDD Program of Study Homepage ? This box would only show up if the student has not started. Hello, Anne! Here is the status of your Program of Study (PoS): You haven’t started your PoS yet. BEGIN PoS □ Program of Study Partially Complete □ Program of Study Completed □ Program of Study Sent to Advisor □ Program of Study Approved by Advisor Need to speak to your advisor? Click here to link to the SISLT faculty page. This screen allows the user to select the next page to which they will navigate, based on their needs and where they are in the program.

Homepage Section A: Getting Started Section B: Planning Your Program of Study Section C: Current Program of Study • What's the Big Picture?The LSDD track consists of graduate coursework focusing on the following competencies:Conducting needs assessment and evaluating learning systems.Designing learning environments, and systems.Developing learning systems applications or components of applications.Systematically evaluating a selected artifact.What's a Program of Study? • A Program of Study is a listing of the courses you will complete to earn your Master's degree.  Typically, the Program of Study is submitted for SISLT approval before you are halfway through the program.  Your advisor will help you develop your own personalized program of study. Plan Your PoS Back First-time users are directed through the Gettting Started page with background information about the PoS. Users who have used the system before will skip this by default, but always be able to access it to refer back to.

Homepage Section A: Getting Started Section B: Planning Your Program of Study Section C: Current Program of Study Instructions: Click the “Edit” buttons below to navigate to the various sections of the Program of Study Worksheet.  Your progress will be saved anytime you click on a Return to Program of Study button on the worksheet pages. View Your Current PoS Back This screen will be the start page for students starting their Program of Study. Screens for Courses Already Taken, Currently Enrolled and Planned for Future Semesters will have a similar layout (next slide). The screen for Courses from Other Schools will include textboxes for entering information on courses taken elsewhere.

Save and Exit Back Save Worksheet and Continue to Next Page Save Worksheet and Return to Main PoS Page Cancel Screens for Courses Currently Enrolled and Courses for the Future will look similar to this one. Semester, year and grade will have pull-down menus of choices. The page for Courses for the Future will have an additional column that will identify the semesters in which the courses are typically offered.

LSDD • At least 31 hours of graduate credit?  At least 15 hours of 8000-9000 level courses. • No more than 6 hours of transfer credit? Back Cancel Export to PDF Print Submit to Advisor This screen will show the current version of the Program of Study along with an indication of how many requirements have been met. Here they can also save a PDF copy, print, or submit to their advisor. The screen will also populate the user’s name, degree, etc. After clicking on the “Submit to Advisor” link, the user will be taken back to their homepage, and the status will be updated.
