  2. Stone Age Believe it or not, fashion trends have been around for a long time. During the stone ages, men and women wrapped themselves in animal fur (usually animal hide) to keep warm.

  3. 3000 B.C.E. Around 3000 B.C.E. people in the Middle East, Far East, and Africa started wrapping turbans over their heads. People in those areas continue to do this today!

  4. Mid 1600s-1700s Powdered wigs became popular when King Louis XIV ruled over England. physics. The wigs were actually used to cover baldness and sores on the head.

  5. 18o0 http://vintagefashionguild.org/1800s/ In the mid 1800s cage crinolines or hoops became popular. The mid 1800s are also sometimes referred to as the skirt era.

  6. Late 1800’s – Mid 1900’s During the late 1800’s, top hats became popular and stayed popular until the Mid 1900’s. Nobody knows exactly who invented the top hat, but It is believed to be based on the sugarloaf hat.

  7. TODAY! Today, one of the big fashion trends is skinny jeans. Another Fashion trend is Bieber Hair
