3000 B.C.E. Around 3000 B.C.E. people in the Middle East, Far East, and Africa started wrapping turbans over their heads. People in those areas continue to do this today!
Mid 1600s-1700s Powdered wigs became popular when King Louis XIV ruled over England. physics. The wigs were actually used to cover baldness and sores on the head.
