Hamilton strikes! Late in 1778 Hamilton and his forces retake Vincennes.
Clark starts a siege at Vincennes Clark kills an Indian in plain view of the fort to show that the British cannot protect them.
Hamilton Surrenders Hamilton and his men are spared when they surrender early in 1778.
July 1778 Hundreds of Loyalists and Indians went into the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania and took about 200 scalps.

Total destruction They were ordered to destroy the Iroquois country. They destroyed about 40 villages including their orchards and food supplies.
