Member Services Update • The combined AFGC/PLMA meeting in Nov 2012 was well received with 92% of attendees saying that would attend next year. We will run another meeting with the AFGC late in 2013 – topic and speaker TBC • PLMA changes based on AGM Members Feedback • Include member case study in meetings • More focus on Ideas & Issues exchange • Group to attend the PLMA Amsterdam show in May • Arrange a social event later in the year • Sydney venue – change to outside of city (Venue TBC)
Member Services Update • PLMA membership – invoiced in Jan 2013. Approx. 20% of invoices still to be paid. • Member retailer survey – will be sent out in March and then presented to retailers from April. Please provide feedback (take approx. 10 mins to complete). • Retailer news • Aldi launch in WA/SA • Ruth McDonald - new Head of Private Label at Woolworths • New CEO at Metcash – Ian Morrice
Ideas & Issues • Key questions you want PLMA to raise at the annual retailer meetings • Sharing / signing over IP to Retailers • ACCC/Wesfarmers announcement on investigations around treatment of suppliers. • Voluntary code of conduct/ Retailer & Supplier Roundtable • PLMA presence in the media (or lack of) • QA and auditing by retailers –cost to the business • Other issues keeping you awake at night
