  1. Enabling the Candidate Link Collection Tool

  2. Candidate Link Set-up • To Start the set up of the Candidate Link, first select Candidate Link Preferences under the Account Settings Tab.

  3. Activating Candidate Collection • Under Candidate Link preferences we first want to Enable the Candidate Collection tool, select the Edit Button

  4. Selecting URL and Enabling Candidate Collection • Now select the website URL that you would like to use for your candidates and then click Enable Candidate Collection. Press Save and the first step is now complete.

  5. Collection Form Preferences • Now that the Candidate Collection is Enabled you can begin to customize the way it is viewed and some of the information is collects. For any questions that you have on this please contact our client service department at 888-606-7868.

  7. Creating Account • The Candidate starts by clicking Create Account

  8. Creating User ID and Password • The Candidate will create a User ID unique to themselves with security info to protect their profile

  9. User ID confirmation • After they create their User ID successfully they click continue to enter their User ID and Password into the system

  10. Candidate Log-in page • After they enter in User ID and Password, click Login

  11. Candidate Task List • To continue on to the next step, click continue.

  12. Create Candidate Record • The Candidate will now enter in Personal Information about themselves. Then press Continue.

  13. Candidate Task List • To continue on to the next step, click continue.

  14. Candidate Collection Forms • Step 1 of 6 of the information collection. Addresses

  15. Candidate Collection Forms • Step 2 of 6 is entering previous Employment and Personal/Professional References.

  16. Candidate Collection Forms • Step 3 of 6 is entering Education, current and/or past.

  17. Candidate Collection Forms • Step 4 of 6 is providing an affirmative keystroke for the Notice and Disclosure.

  18. Candidate Collection Forms • Step 5 of 6 is providing all information for the Candidate Release Authorization.

  19. Candidate Collection Forms • Now press Continue to move to final step of Screening Collection Form.

  20. Candidate Collection Forms • Step 6 is the final step where the candidate gives final certification and release for background screen.

  21. Candidate Task List • To finish the process click Continue.

  22. Completed Task List • The Candidate can now log out by clicking Log out or Closing Window.

  23. Candidate Log out • This candidate has now completed all information that will now be transferred in to your Select 3.0 system. If the Candidate does have any questions or concerns they are welcome to contact our client service department at 888-606-7868.

  24. Retrieving your Candidate’s data

  25. Candidate Link Results To collect the data your candidate has entered, in the bottom left corner click on CandidateLink.

  26. Score assessment test Here you can see the information that the candidate submitted and begin to review it several different ways, Including viewing the data the applicant entered, or using the information to order a screening. We will begin with view candidate data.

  27. View Candidate data View candidate data: Here you can see the information that the candidate submitted in a simple format just giving you the data entry from the candidate

  28. Order Background Check • Clicking Order background check on this candidate will start a new order for the candidate using the information collected by CandidateLink • For more information on ordering please see the Order information from the resources screen.
