Berkeley County’s population grew by 14,462 residents from 2004-2007. The County’s density rose from 265 persons/sq mi to 310 persons/sq mi. Berkeley County’s population is projected to grow another 30,000 persons by 2025. This will create a population density of 1 person for every 1½ acre, or 405 persons/sq mi.
