  1. Welcome to Oakland Catholic High School! Spirituality, Scholarship, Service

  3. JOA Freshmen– please meet with Mrs. Kasunic in her room (208) Thursday morning at 7:45am.

  4. All Student Ambassadors need to check their e-mail everyday this week to prepare for 8th Grade Day.

  5. Any students trying out for the Swim of Diving Team or former Swim Team Members, there will be an informational meeting Thursday Oct. 10 in the Cafe after school.

  6. The prom club will have it's first meeting immediately after school in room 211 on Wednesday, October 9. • If you're interested in joining, please plan to attend. Hope to see you there!

  7. INSPIRE club will meet on Monday, October 14th in room G10 from 2:45 - 3:15.   Please plan to attend.  

  8. Campus Ministry meeting will be on Tuesday, October 22nd in the Lecture Hall. Leadership teams will meet during this time.  

  9. College Visits – Week of October 7 Wednesday, October 9 Thursday, October 10 Highpoint University University of Alabama Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute American University College of Charleston St. John University • Case Western Reserve • Hofstra University • Temple University

  10. Calendar Sale The last turn in date for calendar sales is Thursday, October 24

  14. French Club will hold its first meeting on Thursday, October 17 in Room 208.  Make plans to stay until 3pm!   Merci:)

  16. ALL JOA SCHOLARS MUST CHECK THEIR EMAIL DAILY FOR THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS!

  17. The 47th Annual Duquesne University College Fair will be held at the A.J. Palumbo Center on Sunday, October 13th from 1PM to 3PM Over 150 colleges and universities will be in attendance.  This is a great way to meet with representatives from a variety of schools No registration is required.

  18. Submitto Forté • Are you an ARTIST? Are you a photographer, a poet, a doodler, an author, a dancer, a painter? • Then submit your art, whatever it may be, to FORTE, OC’s Art and Literary Magazine • Drop off submissions in Room 208 or send scanned or video submissions to oaklandcatholicforte@gmail.com • Our theme this year is PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE • Deadline for Submissions is November 15th
