Math • practice concepts taught in class, weekly practice, and fluency practice Reading/LA • 30 minutes of independent reading, sourcebook reading, and weekly comprehension activities Writing • editing/revising of class work, publishing final pieces from class, and weekly practice exercises Science • response sheets, completion of unfinished class work, and preparation for quizzes & unit tests Social Studies • textbook reading, daily geography, completion of unfinished class work, and preparation of quizzes & unit tests. Homework

Graded Assignments • All assignments will be graded and added to parent connect within two weeks. • Some late work and absent work may take longer to appear on parent connect. • Absent Work • Please check my homework page for nightly assignments. • Absent work will be sent home after missing three consecutive school days. • Late Work • A missing assignment can be handed in one day late with no penalty. Any assignment handed in two days beyond the due date, will receive two points off the total grade. For assignments three or more days late, two additional points will be taken per day. • Once a chapter or unit is completed, late work will not be accepted. • Any assignment that is not completed by the end of the chapter or unit, will be given an F.
