  6. 6th Grade Team Structure 4 Teams – Red, Black, Grey, White Core teachers meet with administration and guidance weekly to discuss students and projects Each team has a unique theme and service project Team assignments will be released with individual student schedules in August

Other Schedule Details • Black Day PACE period • Opportunity to get help from teachers in subject areas • Make up work from absences • KV K’NEX and Advisory • Technology program • Music Lessons • Individual instrumental lessons are the same as the elementary schools • Group rehearsals are scheduled before school, with some after-school rehearsals

  15. Transition to KV – Events Timeline KV representatives visited each 5th grade between April 15 and May 2 5th Grade Parent Night at KV – May 12th 5th Grade visits to KV on May 8th for Simmons, Crooked Billet, and Pennypack 5th Grade visits to KV on May 15th for Hallowell and Blair Mill

Transition to KV – Events Timeline Letters mailed to parents regarding student academic placement at the end of July Schedules and HR will be mailed during the third week in August KV Open House for all 6th Graders on Tuesday, August 26th from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm First Day of School – Tuesday, September 2nd!
