AO-K Supports the Economy 64% of the jobs in Kansas by 2018 will require postsecondary education Almost 38,000 Kansas jobs currently remain unfilled Between now and 2020, Kansas will need to fill almost half a million job vacancies; over 300,000 of those will require postsecondary education

Performance Based Funding Model for Adult Education Rewards AO-K Participation Outcomes • Funding will be doubled for the transition outcome beginning in FY14 for FY15 funding Quality Measures • Calculated measures with AND without AO-K students in denominator-awarded points based on higher percent
