Hillary Carlip • Carlip is a contemporary artist and graphic designer. She authored a book that used grocery lists as a basis to construct different personalities. Cindy Sherman • Sherman is a contemporary photographer who has created many different personalities. Her photographs are all self portraits. She has used film stills, famous art work, and clowns as some of her image categories. Educational use of images granted by MOMA web site. www.moma.org
Rembrandt van Rijn • Rembrandt, a 17th century Dutch artist, made many self portraits. In some of them he dressed as different characters.
