Green Beret Foundation Mission The Green Beret Foundation provides unconventional resources to facilitate the special needs of our wounded, ill and injured and killed in action Green Berets and imparts unique support to the Special Forces community in order to strengthen readiness and uphold Green Beret traditions and values.

  3. Green Beret Foundation Objectives The primary purpose of the GBF is to provide services for wounded, injured or ill members and former members of the United States Army Special Forces and those who have served in a support capacity of a United States Army Special Forces mission during time of their wounds, injury or illness as is related to their direct duties with the Special Forces. Family members of the aforementioned personnel that shall receive the corporation’s services may be supported at the discretion of the Board. The personnel the corporation supports will be those that were wounded post-September 11, 2001. Resources permitting, the corporation may provide services for wounded members and former members of the Special Forces of the United States Army that were wounded prior to September 11, 2001. The corporation will serve those members and former members that are in good standing with the Special Forces Regiment. Additionally, the corporation may engage in any activities that are reasonably related to or in furtherance of its stated charitable purposes, or in any other charitable activities.

GBF’s Programs and Services • We are designed to fill gaps in the care and support system for the Special Forces Community. • Nine Core Programs and Services: • Casualty Care • Extended Care • Steel Magnolias • The Next Ridge Line • Gold Star • Reconnect Weekends • Educational Scholarships • Advocacy • Business Consulting The Green Beret Foundation should always be the first stop for all Green Berets’ (active duty and veterans) and their families’ needs. If we are unable to financially support the request because the request falls outside our mission, we will advocate for all legitimate needs for the Green Beret until all avenues have been exhausted.
