Leviticus Background • Shows how God’s people fulfill their priestly calling • Led out of slavery and into the sanctuary of God • Israel must move from salvation to service: • Israel must move from deliverance to dedication • It talks about animal sacrifice for the atonement of the people’s sin • It also talks about series of strict laws to govern all aspects of daily life, worship and service
