DESCRIPTION OF THE DESERT • Sandy, crumbly, rocky; little or no plants. • Very dry almost no rain. • Can be hot during the day, but still cold at night.
Location on earth • 30 degrees N. and 30 degrees S.latitude, in the ‘’shadow’’ of mountain southwestern U.S., Australia Saudi Arabia • And also located in Africa, Asia, North America, south America and Australia.
Food chain of the desert • The fox eats the snake. • The snake eats the rodents and lizards. • THE tarantula ,Scorpion, lizard eat the insects the hawk eats the tarantula,scorpion,and lizard.
Fact 1 • The desert has almost no rain FACT 2 When snakes eat they can not eat for two months.
FACT 3 • DESERTS COVER more than one third of the earths land. FACT 4 MANY DESERT ANIMALS BECACOME OUT AT NIGHT USE TO AVOID THE DESERT HEAT.
