  3. Where on earth is the desert • 30 degrees north and 30 degrees south latitude In the shadow mountains and can be found in Mexico and Canada

  8. Fact 4 • There are lots of poisonous animals in the desert like scorpions and spiders

  9. Fact 5 • A desert receives less than 10 inches of rain per year
