  2. PLANTS A Saguaro cactus stores its water in its trunk. An old man cactus has a white hair surface. Yucca cactus does not only grow in the dessert but other places too.

  3. Animals A dingo eats large mammals. Fat sand rats eat seeds from desert plants. A side whiner eats small mammals.

  4. Desert facts The desert gets 10 inches of rain. Deserts are mostly dry. There are 4 deserts in north America.
