  1. STARPORT FITNESS TRANSITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM Starport is offering a 3 month fitness extension to assist Starport Partner employees who are laid off from their job due to the transition. The intent is to provide a tool to help employees manage stress and take care of themselves while they are transitioning. • Starport Membership • Membership will be extended 3 months from the last day of employment by a partner company. • At the end of the 3 month period, membership will automatically expire. • Members will have access to all programs offered at Gilruth Center (JSC/Contractor onsite wellness programs not included). • For fee services will still require applicable fees. • Membership badge must be turned in to Gilruth Information Desk once membership expires. • Requirements • Employees must leave in good standing with the Partner company. (terminated for cause employees do not qualify) • Must be on list provided by Partner. (provided by Partner Human Resources Department) • Employee badge or picture ID is required • Must complete Membership Application / Par-Q (Health Risk Assessment optional) • Upon re-employment by Partner company, membership will be converted to regular annual membership with a company badge.(Health Risk Assessment will be required if it has not been done this calendar year by the employee). • Non-membership programs • Person(s) may participate in the following programs that do not require membership or JSC/Contractor employment once membership expires. • League Sports – Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football • Recreation Classes – Boot Camp, Salsa, Ballroom Dancing • Certification Classes – Defensive Driving
