FMS Meeting: 7/21/14 • Discussion of progress refurbishing the FMS • First delivery of ~40-50 finished bases from PSU • Stacking to begin July 30 (Wednesday) • MrigankaMondal: discussion of problems with trigger threshold energies • Christopher Dilks: (Measurement of ALL for pions in FMS in Run 12/13)- Measured Transverse Spin Asymmetries (AN/ATT/AS) to estimate systematic errors on ALL in case of small transverse component. https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/dilks/transverse-spin-asymmetries-run12-pp200

  4. Jet Meeting: 7/22/14 • Zilong Chang: Run 12 Inclusive Jet pT Shift Studies- Using Run 11 pp500 Embedding Sample. Need pT shift to correct pT for Detector (measured jets) -> Particle Jets -> Parton Jets (comparable to theory): Problem with pT bins <8.4 GeV, near trigger thresholds.
