Second Trimester (13-27 weeks) . 4 th Month - Baby. 13th week – tiny bones are forming, intestines moving from umbilical cord to abdomen, vocal cords starting 14th week – more fluid in movements, palate develops, has a downy coat of hair ( lanugo )

4th Month - Baby 13th week – tiny bones are forming, intestines moving from umbilical cord to abdomen, vocal cords starting 14th week – more fluid in movements, palate develops, has a downy coat of hair (lanugo) 15th week – ears to the side, eyes to the front, wiggle fingers and toes, start to make breathing movements
4th Month, continued 16th week • Can hear your voice, starting to make facial expressions, perceives light (eyelids still closed) End Results: Hair begins to grow, head more erect, quickening may start to happen
