    4. 3 Phases To Jumping & Landing Take-off Actions of the body to get us into the air Flight Actions of the body in the air Landing Actions of the body to establish ground contact

    5. Skill Level Progressions Jumping for fun explorations for height and distance jumping a rope absorbing on landing More vigorous take-offs and controlled landings Focus on the flight phase Jumping on and off apparatus Hurdling and formal jumping patterns

    6. Pre-Control Activities Jumping over a ground level rope explore different ways; high, long Jumping for distance and height Jumping over a swinging rope not one that rotates fully

    7. Control Level Activities Standing Long Jump swing forward cue: bend the knees cue Jumping for Height Focusing on Landing use balloons to reach for, or boxes to jump from Jumping Over Low Obstacles (hoops/hurdles) Jumping Rhythmically Jumping a Turned Rope (long rope and self turned) Jumping Sequences
