  3. 1. Introduction • TQ launched in 1995 www.thinkquest.org • advancing education by accelerating the use of computer network applications and digital technologies • two student-centered programs: • TQ International Challenge (age 12-19) • TQ Junior (grade 4-6)

  4. 1. Introduction • a global network of K-12 students, teachers, parents and technologists • 38 state partners • 65 international partners • students from 123 countries • library with over 4500 educational web sites, all done by students http://www.thinkquest.org/library
