  13. Georgia Book Award Program motivates readers

  14. The winner, with 40% of the Addison votes, was “I Need My Monster.”

  15. Seussapaloosa celebrates reading for pleasure

  16. Our extra programs would not be possible without the help of our many wonderful volunteers!

Seussapalooza and other reading events were made possible by the participation of our regular parent volunteers. • Volunteers contribute an average 5 hours per week to the program with more hours donated toward book fairs and other events. • Our level of service would not be possible without our parent volunteers.

  20. “Camp Readmore”Summer Reading Program… • Provides ALL students with FREE book and bookmark • Involves ALL students, current, new, and graduating • Asks ALL students to take the summer reading pledge • Collaborates with our local public library • Identifies vendors who offer incentives • Recognizes reading achievement when school starts • Motivates Top Readers with Capt. Readmore activities

  22. Collaborative planning led to 848 class visits so far this year What the teachers are saying: “Peggy, thanks for sharing your expertise with the 1st grade team!” “Thank you, Peggy, for doing the weather unit on the computer with 1st grade. It was amazing.”

  23. Instructional Activities are a Priority for all Addison students to acquire 21st Century Skills

  27. GNN News Show broadcast every day of the school year to all classes and involved all students in recording and producing the show.
