(e.g. charity, community interest company etc) Map the current state Identify funding sources Visits to other CAT projects

Community Asset Transfer (CAT) Step 2: Building a strong case (6 – 9 months) Formal expression of interest to council about community asset transfer Wide consultation with users, stakeholders, council, other groups Develop a vision with community + architects, funders, legal advisors, Longer term fundraising Develop a robust business plan Step 3: Arranging Transfer (6 – 9 months) Formal process of transfer with council.
