  10. Bachelor's Degree General Education Coursework: 48 semester units Major coursework: 30-70 semester units (some major coursework may also count towards GE coursework) Elective units to meet degree requirement (120 total semester units)

Transfer to California State University (CSU) As a Junior 60 semester credits (90 quarter credits) in transferable CSU coursework • 30 semester credits of transferable General Education (GE) coursework, including: • English Composition (English 101) • Critical Thinking / English Composition (English 102 or 103) • Oral Communications (Communication 101) • Mathematical Concepts / Quantitative Reasoning Major Preparation: Courses required by the campus the student is applying to within a specific major Minimum 2.0 GPA in transferable courses, but may need a higher GPA if applying to impacted majors and or campuses

  13. Associates Degree for Transfer (ADT) Associates of Arts for Transfer (AA-T) Associates of Science for Transfer (AS-T) Students that complete and ADT and have at least a 2.0 GPA will receive priority admissions review. For more information: About ADT

Transfer to University of California (UC) As a Sophomore* Transfer as a Sophomore happens on a very limited basis Less than 60 semester credits (90 quarter credits) in transferable UC coursework • General Education (GE) coursework • English Composition (English 101) • Critical Thinking / English Composition (English 102 or 103) • Mathematical Concepts / Quantitative Reasoning • 4 additional GE courses from at least 2 separate areas: Area 3 (Arts & Humanities); Area 4 (Social Science); Area 5 (Science) Major Preparation: Courses required by the campus the student is applying to within a specific major Minimum 2.0 GPA in transferable courses, but may need a higher GPA if applying selective majors and / or campuses **Completed all high school a-g courses with a grade of C or better, had at least a 3.0 academic 10-12 GPA, and took SAT / ACT with writing all by high school graduation date

Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) For select majors at: UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz Students that complete and TAG requirements will be given early review of their application. TAG can only be submitted to one UC campus.   18. Impacted Majors and Campuses (CSU) Selective Majors (UC) Impacted or selective majors mean that more people are applying to the major and / or campus then there are available openings. This means that a student applying to this major will need a more competitive application (higher GPA, campus involvement, work experience) to be admitted to that particular major. Harbor College: Harbor Advantage • Requires additional participation agreement (separate from online application to Harbor College) • May provide up to two years of free tuition (must complete FAFSA or DREAM) • Students have access to a summer bridge program and ongoing workshops about career exploration, college survival skills, and transfer

  22. Harbor College: Honors Transfer • Requires additional application (separate from online application to Harbor College) • Must have a 3.25 Academic 10-12 GPA ( or 3.1 Cumulative College GPA) • Must complete 6 Honors courses at Harbor College

Could provide up to two years of free tuition. Honors Transfer Program: Honors College with additional support for transfer to selective universities Special Programs and Services : Support and resources for students with IEPs STEM STEP: Workshops and field trips for students in a STEM major Puente: Mentoring and tutoring program for students preparing to transfer to a 4-year university
