  11. Current Issues • New Central Library • Issuance of Building Permit – one last Fire Department requirement is to be completed by the Joint Venture this week. Full Building Permit should be released soon thereafter. • Revisions to the City Code - to allow concrete placement during overnight hours. • 2nd Street Bridge and Roadway Extension • Removal of the LAB Detour: there is efforts in place to remove the detour once Seaholm Drive is opened to the public. 10 New Central Library and Related Improvements

  12. Current Issues, continued • Seaholm Substation Screen Wall • Scope included in Partial GMP3: Concrete foundation, Retaining walls, Drilled piers, Survey, Erosion control, and Tree protection. Notice to Proceed with construction has been issued. Balance of the Screen wall scopes will be included in Final GMP4. • Project Status – Artist team has completed re-design: • East wall has been changed to create the requested AB pattern. • West wall – Re-designed due to Subsurface investigation results showing utility conflicts. Design consists of a precast concrete base with perforated metal panels and perforated metal in-fill and gates. • Lighting design has been incorporated to West, North, and South walls. • PSA Amendment with NADAAA - for project re-design, Lighting design and Construction Administration has been split into two; second portion will go to City Council for approval. • Funding - Public Expectations – Design revisions presented to AIPP, Arts Commission, Downtown Commission, and Design Commission. Presentations to Electric Utility Commission and CMO after final cost is received from CM@R. Tentative time for presentation toCity Council is at the end of November. 11 New Central Library and Related Improvements

Current Issues, continued • Adjacent projects • Seaholm Redevelopment • Coordination between Hensel Phelps & Flintco – ongoing by weekly • Shared Access of West Avenue ROW - ongoing but very complicated due to Flintco’s construction & West Avenue Construction • Green Water Treatment Plant Redevelopment • Coordination between Hensel Phelps & Trammell Crow on Bridge Construction – bridge components to begin arriving today. 12 New Central Library and Related Improvements
