  2. Se baigner (verbe) • To go swimming • Pendant l’été, je me baigne le mercredi.

  3. Un chalet (nom) • A small vacation home in the mountains • Mes parents possèdent un chalet ou je passé les étés.

  4. Chaser (verbe) • To hunt • Dans l’ancien temps, tout le monde chasse pour survivre.

  5. Le décalage horaire (nom) • Jet lag • Après je voyage, je me sens malade; j’ai le décalage horaire.

  6. Se détendre (verbe) • To relax/unwind • Je me détends tout en lisant un livre!

  7. Faire de l’escalade (verbe+nom) • To go rock climbing • Quand je me sens aventureuse, je fais de l’escalade.

  8. Faire du ski alpin (verbe+nom) • To go downhillskiing • Je fais du ski alpin quand il neige beaucoup.

  9. Faire du stop (verbe+nom) • To hitchhike • J’ai fait du stop à New York à Lancaster, mais ce n’était pas sûr.

  10. Faire la grasse matinée (verbe+nom) • To sleep in • Pendant la vacance, j’ai fait la grasse matinée tous les jours.

  11. La station de sports d’hiver (nom) • Winter (sports) resort • J’ai appris skier à la station de sports d’hiver.
