  8. Predestination or Election 1. God wants all people to be saved. 2. God choses who will be saved. 3. Those he choses (elect) are saved by Christ’s perfect obedience, death, and resurrection.

  20. Five Points of Election • It is good for us to know what we can, and accept what we can’t • Election keeps us thinking beyond ourselves • Election keeps God judging us rather than us judging God. • Believing Election CHANGES and COMFORTS • Election is only in Jesus Christ!
