Warning/Advisory Criteria • Blizzard (3 hours) • Wind 35 mph: Sustained or frequent gusts • Visibility ¼ mile or less
Warning/Advisory Criteria • Ice Storm • Ice accumulation ¼ inch
Warning/Advisory Criteria • Winter Storm Warning • Snow: 6 inches in 12 hours 8 inches in 24 hours • Sleet: ½ inch accumulation • Combination of hazards: snow, sleet, freezing rain, etc.
Warning/Advisory Criteria • Advisories • Snow: 3-5 inches (Headline under 3 inches) • Ice: Under ¼ inch accumulation • Sleet: Under ½ inch accumulation • Combination
