Solid waste management is a critical issue in India, given the country's rapid urbanization and population growth. As the second-most populous nation in the world, India generates an enormous amount of waste daily, making effective waste management a pressing concern. In this blog, let’s explore the challenges faced in solid waste management in India and delve into sustainable solutions that can pave the way for a cleaner and greener future. 1. The Scale of the Challenge: India generates an estimated 62 million tonnes of solid waste annually, and this number is expected to rise significantly in the coming years.
