Energy efferent transportation • A diesel fuelled internal combustion engine would power an electric generator, which would channel power to the motors on two axles and since the ICE wouldn't directly drive the truck, it would run continuously on the most efficient speed at the most efficient power output. It would also feature a variable power outputsystem that could disable cylinders when unnecessary; like on long flat stretches of road.

  4. Some what fuel efficient train • The four class 1 railroads testing the Trip Optimizer saw their fuel use drop approximately 7 percent — a reduction of more than 37,000 tons of CO2 -- saving 3.3 million gallons of fuel.
