Info • MAX returns the largest value in a set of values; ignores logical values and text • A Bar chart has horizontal bars • XY (Scatter) chart has many points, but no connecting lines • =COUNTIF(range, criteria) shows the correct syntax for the COUNTIF() function • You can change the data from a column to a row by using Transpose • #10 shows an Organizational Diagram

Info • You can change the background of a chart area to a picture by using Fill Effects • SUM adds all numbers in a range of cells • Double-clicking in a cell allows you to edit the contents directly in the cell • You can rename a worksheet by doing the following: Select Format>Sheet>Rename • You can import data into Excel from an external source by doing the following: Click Data>Import External Data>Import Data. Choose the data you want to import in the Select Data Source dialog box
