  2. Position • 位置　「Ichi - いち」 • The placement or arrangement of an object (or person) in a particular place or way Let’s try this

  3. Left (ひだり；Hidari) & Right (みぎ；Migi) • Bowser is to the left of Princess Peach バウザ　は　ももひめさま　のひだり「左」に　います。 「Bowser wa Momo Hime-sama no hidari ni imasu.」 • How would you say: Princess Peach is to the right of Bowser？ • Hint: Right = Migi = 右　（みぎ）

  4. Above（Ue；うえ） & Below（Shita；した） • Yoshi is above the egg. • よしは　たまごの　うえ　に　います。 • Yoshi wa tamago no ue ni imasu. • How would you say?: • The egg is below Yoshi (use arimasu) and Mario is at Yoshi’s left Hint: Soshite = and (use at the beginning of a new sentence)

  5. Between （あいだ；Aida） Akai no Chain-chan 赤いのちぇえぬちゃん • Red (Chain Chomp) is between Blue and Gold. • 赤いちぇえぬ　は　青いの　と　きんいろ　の　あいだにいます。 • Akai Cheenu wa Aoi no to Kiniro no naka ni imasu. • How would you say: • Blue & Gold are not between Red? Hint: masu to masen = negative form. Kiniro no Chain-chan 金色のちぇえぬちゃん Aoi no Chain-chan 青いの　ちぇえぬちゃん

  9. Head Straight • まっすぐに行く • Massugu ni iku • Marioさん　は　まっすぐに行きますよ。 • Mario-san wa massugu ni ikimasuyo. • Mario is heading start! • To say head straight: Massugu ni itte kudasai

  10. Turn left & Turn right • Ryou o Hidari/Migi e magatte ikimasu. • りょう　を　左・右　へ　まがって　行きます。 • Turn left/right at the dragon. • How would you say: Please turn left at theschool (学校；がっこう　gakkou）

  11. Cross the Street • 道　を　渡ります • Michi o watarimasu. • How would you say: Turn left and cross the street?
