  4. Forming Community: AOTA • Virtual/social media • F2F • Brief • Focused • Doing together • Playing together

  5. Creating the Centennial Culture Culture is “vision in action”. Culture is the observable expression of vision. It is the process by which you take a vision and infuse it into your behavior.   6. How do you create the Centennial Culture?? Membership! Practice asking for your future employer to support your AOTA and state OT membership….make it a part of your fixed expenses supporting your profession

  7. How do you create the Centennial Culture?? Membership! Practice asking for your future employer to support your AOTA and state OT membership…. And your co-workers to join and support AOTPAC and AOTF!

  8. How do you create the Centennial Culture?? Get involved! Practice asking your employer to support your full engagement in leadership with AOTA and state OT membership….

  9. How do you create the Centennial Culture?? Advocacy! Practice asking your senator/ representative/ school district to support access to occupational therapy services in your area of practice….

  10. How do you create the Centennial Culture?? Be an OT ambassador! Practice describing what occupational therapy means to them….

  11. What can you imagine?

  12. Remember YOU are AOTA! Every member a leader, an ambassador, a change agent!
