  2. The Pure Land on Earth Pilgrimage • The Pure Land on Earth Pilgrimage is special in many ways. It will help cement our connection to Master Sheng Yen, his lineage, vision, DDM practitioners and the future of Chan. We will also renew our vow to practice and spread Buddhadharma. Along with the retreat we will get a chance to tour and learn about a new culture.

  12. Important Information • Items can be shipped home, although you will want a native speaker to accompany you to the post office. Shops will ship your purchases directly for you. • Taiwan has subtropical weather. It is similar to the weather in Miami Florida. You may want to pack a light weight rain jacket or umbrella

  13. Important Information • Sheets and pillows are provided at DDRM, but bring a towel and all toiletries • Pack light: one suitcase to check in one to care on. • For retreat; comfortable, neutral color clothing is recommended
