Enhancing Health Care and Sales Skills: Sector Skills Alliance Pilot in Bulgaria

Profile of the participants • People with disabilities; • Unemployed people; • Young entrepreneurs; • Trade representatives of food supplements companies; • Sales persons of assistive technologies for people with disabilities; • Nutritionists; • Owners of holistic centres for well-being and healthy nutrition; 63 learnersout of initially planned – 30 All provided application and consent forms

  3. Scope of piloting • Cities – Plovdiv, Sofia, Smolyan, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Banya, Sliven, Vratsa, VelikoTurnovo, Pleven

  4. Training approaches • E-learning – 70% • Group sessions – 20% • Apprenticeship – 10%

  5. Average of training activities • Average face to face activities – 20 hours • Average e-learning training – 120 hours • Technical issues: some partners have problems with registration – the automatic confirmation email was in their SPAM folder • No revisions for changing of content!

  10. Midterm meetings • The main goal of these meetings was to monitor the progress of piloters.

Feedback about the training modules • All modules were well accepted; • The piloters identified as the most useful the following modules: • Module 3: Trading with medical devices and assistive technologies • Module 4: Trading with food supplements • Module 5: Communication & Work with disabled customers • Module 7: Entrepreneurship skills • Module 8: E-commerce • Module 9: Internship

I will use it on regular basis to train newly recruited staff.”
