  2. Where is Gardom Lake? Gardom Lake Bible Camp is located 10km N.W. of Enderbyand 16km S.E. of Salmon Arm. Traveling from Kelowna (Vernon): • Follow highway 97 past Enderby to the junction of 97A and 97B. Turn left onto 97B. Travel to the top of a long uphill gradeto Gardom Lake Road. It will be on your left hand side, marked by a large Gardom Lake Bible Camp sign. Continue to follow the signs another 3km.You have reached your destination!

  3. When Are We Going? May 14, 15 & 16th (Wednesday-Friday)

  4. What will we do There? Activities • High ropes • Climbing Wall • Archery • Orienteering • Cooperative games • Zip line • Canoeing • Mission Impossible!

  5. We need parent volunteers! We'll send out notices later asking helpers for the following : • Supervise Stations • Stay overnight • Certified first aid • Play guitar • Transport luggage

What does a day look like? • Tentative Schedule: • 8:00 breakfast • 9:15-10:15 Activity 1 • 10:30-11:30 Activity 2 • 12:00-12:30 Lunch • 12:30-1:15 Free time • 1:30-2:30 Activity 3 • 2:45-3:45 Activity 4 • 3:45-4:00 snack • 4:15-5:15 free time • 5:30-6:30 Dinner • 6:30-7:00 make up cabin song or cheer in cabins • 7:00-8:00 Team Building (cabins make up skits) • 8:00-9:00 Camp fire-skits, songs • 9:00-9:25 Snack (smores/dirnks) • 10:00 Lights Out

  7. What does the trip cost? • $130.00 (based on last years cost) Includes Transporation, 6 meals, snacks, all activities, accommodations. • Parent cost (meals) $53.00

  8. cabins • Closer to the date, students will choose three friends they would like to share a cabin with, and we'll promise at least one. • 2 parents per cabin • Bunks have mattresses-students need sleeping bags and a pillow)

  9. Camp staff • Skilled • Trained to work with children • Establish rules of the camp • Trained in first aid • Friendly and fun

Trained staff • Teachers have a list of students and allergies or health concerns • Emergency numbers will be carried by teachers for contact with the school principal, parents. • First aid kit will be taken • Hospital and medical service are in salmon arm (16km) • Cell phones will be taken to dial 911 if an emergency should arise.
